DTRI Plant Manager and staff participate at Eastwood City's Cheese and Deli Festival

Mr. Angelo M. Tapia (faculty member of Institute of Animal Sciences (IAS) and dairy plant manager of Dairy Training and Research Institute (DTRI),  together with Ms. Aida B. Lanaca (marketing head of DTRI) demonstrated different cheese-making processes

during the Eastwood Citys' Cheese and Deli Festival last April 21 in Eastwood Mall Atrium, Quezon City.

The Eastwood City's Cheese and Deli Festival is part of the Eastwood Mall Weekend Gourmet Market. The event features a variety of unique and delectable cheeses, cold cuts and salads in collaboration with DTRI, social organizations and small-medium enterprises that belongs or caters to the cheese and deli industry.

Mr. Tapia and Ms. Lanaca demonstrated steps on making cheeses such as feta cheese, white cheese and ricotta cheese. Audiences vary from kids, cheese lovers, businessmen, families, shoppers and more. After the demonstration, audience had an opportunity to taste the different cheeses prepared by DTRI. 

Other staff involved in the event is Ms. Jeddahlyn Baria and Mr. Joey Domingo who assisted in the demonstration and food tasting.
